Both point to panpsychism, but also to what the ancients, namely Parmenides (including Zeno of Elea) and Empedocles already knew 2500 years ago.
Russellian monism points to the same concept. As does Indra’s net.
The Scholar (and Mystic) Peter Kingsley points this out in two of his books. Both are worth reading for any person that is interested in understanding where Western Culture came from. (Including how we may save it from its current decline): In the Dark Places of Wisdom and Reality In addition, Aion by Carl Jung also spells this out using Religion, Philosophy and Science to appeal to the modern mind and zeitgeist.
I fear, however, as Parmenides (as a messenger of Persephone) wrote in his poem; Humans are “helpless, deaf and blind” and are bound and clinging to the “reality” of Maya-Aphrodite.
